Cleaning or blessing for all cleaners
When people come in a hotel, the first thing they do is, I guess, checking their room. Is this room clean enough for comfortable stay? We are not talking about a luxury hotel that has a spotless and cozy facility requiring more than 20,000 yen per stay. Here we are talking about a business hotel requiring less than 8,000 yen per stay. So you can't expect a spotless facility. But still, clean linens and basic amenities promise comfortableness.
But how about if there is a hair on a bath floor? How about if corner dust remains untouched? How about tiny mold on the shower curtain?
Cleaners who work at a minimum wage are responsible for all of them.
What motivates them?
Two things come to my mind. One is that cleaning itself (clearing a mess and keeping things as they should be kept) is valuable. The other is that cleaners have pride and are content doing their job. The latter mind can't build without maturity.

英語の本を読んでみる 1
Try focusing your attention entirely on your immediate vicinity. For example, count ten things nearby that are either red or blue.
英語学習をしていて、やる気になってたてたときの計画がその通り進まない⇒進まないことで自責感が強くなる⇒やる気がますますなくなる⇒英語をみるのも嫌になる
というのは、よくあるパターンでたいがいの人が経験なされていると思います。（そんな経験ないですよという方がいらっしゃいましたら申し訳ありません。）
そこにハマってしまうのでなく、そこからどう抜け出すか、という話です。
たとえば、私の場合ですと、会社帰りの電車の中で、英語の本を読む予定にしていたのです。でも、疲れているし、どうしても、会社で出会った不快なことが頭をよぎり読む気にならない。読むってきめたのに、私はやっぱりダメだわ、という気分になったときに、電車の中を見渡してみるのです。（座っていると少し目立ちすぎるかもしれませんので、そこは良い塩梅で）
別に青とか赤に限らず、緑でも子供でも、テーマに沿うものを目に入る範囲の中で（vicinityは付近を意味します）数えてみる。10個もみつからないとか、細かいことも言わないで。緑なら緑で、車内にある緑に集中して数えていく。これだけで、確かにその数えている間は、会社であったことや、自責感からくる暗い気持ちを追い払うことができました。緑の次は、紫、青、と数えていき、本に戻ったときに、イライラが薄まって、ささやかな達成感がありました。
ちまたで「引き寄せの法則」と言われる暗い感情は暗い出来事を呼ぶという考えを知っている方は多いかと思います。
そうは言われても、暗い感情（私ってダメだわ）をどう振り払ったらいいのか、心理学者の本から引用してみました。

以下は英文読んでいるときの自分の頭の中のつもりです。
SPITEFUL意味分からんな、venomも分からん。
意味が分からない、となったときに、TOEIC900点以上取ったのに、意味ないじゃん、何やってるのというネガティブ思考が自分の頭に浮かぶので、即座に「それとこれとは関係ねぇ」と蹴とばす
demon（デーモン、悪魔）と似てるけど、悪い意味かな。put up with(耐える)とあるなあ。 1873ってどういう時代だっけ。victim(犠牲者)か。mirrorは、分かるけどshatterは、意味何だっけ。単に見ただけでと繋がるような、意味あったっけ。two tiny hand prints appeared in the cakeのhand printは意味分からない、だけど、cakeはケーキだよね、ケーキの上に小さい手が現れたら、ちょっと怖い、これは相当暗い話だわ。
Venom looks like "demon", so does it have a bad meaning? I understand "put up with". What was the year 1873 like? Here is "victims". "Mirror" is OK, but what is the meaning of "shatter"? Does it have a meaning smoothly connected with "merely looking into a mirror"? I don't know "hand print" in the phrase "two tiny hand prints appeared in the cake". But "cake" is a cake, if you see a small hand on the cake, it would be a little scary. This is a pretty dark story.
南北戦争少し前のアメリカで実際に起きた逃亡奴隷女性の子殺しに想を得たといわれる本書は、著者のノーベル文学賞受賞を確実にした大作です。
私は、この本を日本語で読もうとしたのですが、内容が複雑すぎて重く、挫折してしまいました。
ところが、英語で読む（上記のように辞書は引かず、なんとなくわかるところをつなげていく形で）と、最後まで読めたのです。
それは多分、日本語にすると消えてしまう英語の響きが原書から聞こえてきたから。
This book, reported to be inspired by the actual infanticide of a runaway slave woman in the United States shortly before the Civil War, is a major work that ensured the author's Nobel Prize in Literature.
I tried to read this book in Japanese, but the context was too complicated and heavy and I gave up.
However, when I read it in English (without a dictionary, in a way of connecting the parts I can sort of understand as mentioned above), I was able to read it all the way through.
This was probably because I could hear echoes of English in the original book that disappear when translated into Japanese.

circumstances is forgiven and saved, which shows the author's tremendous talent and I admire it.

TOEICスコア900点以上取得した後の勉強方法（その前に心構え） How you should continue English learning after getting TOEIC SCORE 900
TOEICで900点以上をとれば、もう英語はできるようになる、わけはないのはご想像頂けると思います。
You do not feel like you are perfect at English after gaining more than 900 scores on TOEIC as you might imagine.
特に、自分の場合は、１か月という短期間の詰込め式で要領よく勉強しただけという負い目のようなものがあり、その後の迷走があったので、その反省を踏まえて、TOEICスコア900点以上取得後、一応「英語ができる人」になるための（自分が考える）唯一のポイントを書いてみます。
Especially, in my case, I felt somewhat guilty about my method of studying minimum materials with a minimum time of one month and, regrettably, had lost in a way for such a long time. From that experience, what I would like to stress as the only key to mastering English is below.

１か月間集中してListening＆Readingでスコアアップできたという成功体験があるので、同じように確実で短期間でできるSpeaking＆Writinig練習方法がないか探してしまうのです。
ひととおりネットなどで調べたりして、みつからないなとなったとき、Speaking＆Writinigは、いわゆる「使える英語を身に着ける」のは、長期戦だなと罪悪感なく肚をくくりましょう。
If you successfully scored up on a Listening＆Reading test within one month, you could not help searching for a precise and sure method for Speaking＆Writinig as well.
After a series of Internet searches, when you cannot find any, could you just allow yourself without any guilty conscious that it requires a longer time to improve speaking＆writinig skills, in other words, putting on usable English?
英語を話す必要のない環境で、自分の潜在意識にゆっくり時間をかけて、楽しく（興味のある形で、とも言い換えできます）、英語を染み込ませるのです。
Slowly, patiently and pleasantly (meaning in a way you are interested in), immerse your subconscious in English over time in an environment where English is of no use.
なるべくお金をかけずに自分が好きな範囲で英語に触れているだけでも、時間をかければ、英語を使う仕事につけます。（自分の場合は、7年かかりましたが）
English relating jobs will come to you just by touching English materials in a fun way for you with minimum costs though it takes time. (seven years, in my case)
ただ、英語学習のネックになる自責感や劣等感というのは多くの場合、自動発生ですので、これの打ち消し方については、改めて書きたいと思います。
I understand that those feelings blocking English learners' motivation such as self-blame, a guilty conscience, or frustration generate automatically inside a human brain so I will write about the measure to combat such negative feelings in another post.
それで、Speaking＆Writinigは長期戦だとして、何をするか。
私の場合、図書館で借りたり、丸善の特価品コーナーをうろついて、英語の本を読んでいました。
Presuming that it takes time, what should you do for Speaking＆Writinig?
In my case, I read books written in English borrowed from a library or found on a Maruzen's discount shelf.
今は便利になって、図書館に行く時間がなくても、下記のOpenLibraryなら、パソコンやスマホがあれば、アプリのダウンロードなしで本が読めます。
Today it became easier to reach English Books. In Open Library.org below, you can read without downloading an app via PC or smartphone.
ログインして、適当にあちこち触ってみるという慣れ方が一番かなと思いますが、アカウント作成方法ですとか下記のサイトが参考になります。

TOEICスコアを1カ月で600から910にした方法の補足（Audacityを利用した速読用教材づくり）
補足1 TOEICリスニングパートを1.5倍速で聞く方法
聞くたびにアプリの設定から1.5倍速にしてとやっていると、その設定に使う時間がもったいないのです。ですので、必要なリスニングパート3と4の問題文の部分のみ（TOEIC公式問題集7の付属CD１の場合、46トラックから一つ飛ばしで70トラックまで、73トラックから一つ飛ばしで91トラックまで）をあらかじめ1.5倍速にしたファイルを作成します。
Audacityという無料の音声編集ソフトを使用します。その前に、TOEIC公式問題集のファイルは、拡張子が.cdaのため、Windows Media Playerかその他のソフトでAudacityで扱える.mp3に拡張子を変更します。以下にWin10パソコン環境での方法を記載しますが、Macでも作業可能のようです。
なお、自分の場合、1か月間公式問題集のリスニングパートの2回分のみを聞くすることでリスニングのスコアを485にできました。
実際に1.5倍速のものを聞いても何がなんだかで眠くなってしまうので、聞きながら、Part3Part４のTOEIC問題集を見ながら該当箇所を声に出して読みました。
1.5倍速にすると、Part3とPart4の１回分が10分程度になるため、朝と晩にそれぞれ練習する形です。
手順１ 音源（TOEIC公式問題集付属CD）の拡張子変更
TOEIC公式問題集付属CDをPCに入れ、「CDの取り込み」をクリックして、Windows Media Playerでファイルを取り込みます。
取り込み後のファイルは、拡張子.mp3に変換されます。
※Windows Media Playerが自動起動しない場合は、検索窓にWindows Mediaなどと入力して手動で起動させてください。
※mp3以外の拡張子になる場合は、こちらを確認してください。
取り込み後のファイル拡張子が.mp3になっているのを確認します。
手順２ Audacityで1.5倍速にファイル編集
Audacity をインストールするところから、１.５倍速でファイル作成する方法は下記を参照ください。
※現在のAudacityのバージョン（Win 3.1.3）では、Audacityインストール後のmp3出力設定は不要です。
※現在の出力先は、「マイドキュメント」>>「Audacity」>>「macro-output」内にマクロ適用後のファイルは保存されるようです。
※マクロを適用するファイル数は、５つぐらいずつにした方が、Audacityがフリーズしたりすることなくスムーズと思います。
※Audacityがフリーズした場合、自分の場合、タスクバーを右クリックして、タスクマネージャーからAudacityを終了していました。
